As soon as you are in the start boxes before the race, you can start the tracking. CurbCrew will recognize when you cross the start line and snap you to the course from there. If you start the tracking earlier, we might think you are already running the race, so best to wait until you are waiting to cross the start line.
Tracking is light on battery. Even for a marathon, a fully charged battery should not cause aproblem.
Yes. Short messages are read aloud in your earbuds if you're wearing them, so you hear from your crew even when you can't see them.
Only the crew you invite. Nobody else can find you. Unless you make your race public.
